another question for peb7 Zubateho street

Hi Peb7 another quick question for you....how far is the main train station (the one to catch trains to other countries) from Zubateho Street %26amp; also how long to walk to the Old Town and is it a safe area to walk around at night %26amp; are there grocery stores in the vicinity ??? Thank you Peb7 for all your help

Will take you 40 minutes to walk to the main station (although tram number 9 pretty muhc goes there direct from down the bottom of Zubateho street), 20 to 25 minutes to walk to the old town. I would buy a multiple tram ticket; they only cost 220 crowns for 3 days or 280 crowns for 7 days and will save you endless unnecessary walking miles once you have done this the first time.

There is a major Carrefour supermarket in the Novy Smichov shopping centre at Andel about 15 minutes walk away, but small grocery stores (potraviny) on the streets around.

Zubateho is a bit of a dark street, but once you get out onto the main street, it should be no less safe than any other area of Prague
