You lucky girl, I am still thinking of going on a break in the spring, september somewhere and to my brothers in New Zealand next march,so booking prague already is just maybe too much, however after the lottery results on sat night who knows.

checked it out and it seems a great price for the hotel.
it only looks the same distance walking as wenslaslas sq to charles bridge, so you only have to walk to most legil and it is then only a nice stroll through kampa park to the bridge.(past a wonderful yellow hotel??)

River view rooms are great. Ask for a high floor - even at 1am on New Years Day, you will still be able to look out and see residual fireworks being let off over the city
