Hi ! can anyone help us we are looking at some apartments in Zubateho street 11 %26amp; also apartment a few metres from Dancing House. Are these areas too far away from the old town? approx. how far to walk to old town %26amp; sites ? Would really appreciate if anyone could help Thanks

Zubateho is near the French school up the hill from namesti Kinskych tram station where you can catch the tram in 10 minutes to the castele district or the edge of the old town. Dancing building is about the same distance in terms of of trams, but there is a lot mnore traffic about. Out of the two choices, I would prefer Zubateho as a location, but I do not know the apartment and what it contains and whether or not the building is properly refurbished (there are a number of dark unrefurbished buildings in the area). A number of people though have commented favourably on this forum about other apartments nearer to town (Castle Steps and Langhams, for example; so you may want to have a look at these)

about 20 to 25 minutes walk to old town and the castle area
