Advice for trip in March

Hi

I am taking my wife for a surprise birthday break in Prague at the end of March for 3 nights.

We are staying at the Hotel Constans and would like some advice on restaurants and bars nearby.

Gitanes at the bottom onf Trziste is good, as is Square on Malostranske namesti. Further up Hergetova Cihelna gives good views of the river for less price than Kampa Park and further up under the castle on Nerudova is a good steak restaurant, Cowboys

Thanks peb.

Which are the best and cheapest for Czech food.

Also which are the best cheap bars nearby.

all the above are international standard where you can eat with beer for 20 pounds per head. Is that really too expensive for English people?

if you want cheap Czech food, which will be a real birthday surpise for your wife, try Baracnicka rychta, also on Trziste. U Maleho Glena on the same street is a good bar with live music
