exchange US?

Hi Everyone,

I am going to travel to Czech republic, Prague. What is the best way to exchange US money? Should I do it in US, take $ cash or credit card? Where can we get the best exchange to Euro?

Thanks

Went to Prague in August 04. There are a number of currency xchange places in town (near the square) and usually you can get a good deal here. Just need to shop around and look for one that doesn%26#39;t charge exchange fee. But to be safe, you should change most of your EURO requirement in US, and carry US as emergency /spares. Credit cards are widely accepted as well in Prague city.

Hi,

you won%26#39;t actualy need Euros unless you plan to visit other parts of Europe.

We still use our currency which is Koruna. I always change UK £ into Korunas in the Czech Republic never in the UK. Just take your money and change it in Prague once you get there. You can even do it at the airport but the exchange rate probably won%26#39;t be too favourable so do it somewhere in the city centre. I can%26#39;t see you would have any problems.

Have a great time in Prague!

Hope this helps.

K.
