Cheap flights

Is there such a thing as a cheap flight from US to Prague? Should I use a travel agent? Or what website is good to book from?

only people who fly direct from the US to Prague are Czech airlines who fly into JFK. You can of course fly via other European cities and connecting to Prague through other airlines and some of these are cheaper than flying direct with CSA.

No harm in using a travel agent if it suits you and you want to save time, but also look on the airline websites themselves and other travel websites

I%26#39;m only finding round trips at about $1000 US. This seems terribly high to me.

Obviously it depends when you are coming and how long you are staying for, but even with the one leg Prague to New York, the cheapest tickets on offer are over 800 dollars and you want to travel Pittsburgh to Prague, not New York to Prague.

Think you need to be realistic as to how much it will cost you

There are great bargain flights to be had from the UK to Prague. Easyjet %26amp; the Czech airline do great prices if you book early enough. I%26#39;m sure other European hubs must do the same.If you could get a discount connecting flight from the US then it might be possible to reduce price.

Prices all depend on when you want to go - cheap in Jan and Feb, goes up in March, again in April, high as hell in tourist months. The exact same flight (Roanoke, Va, Cinn., NYC, Prague) that cost me $589 in Feb is about $1300 in August. I%26#39;ve had the best results with Expedia.com and cheaptickets.com.
