help

Hi - My boyfriend and I are going to Prague for a few days in April.. Quite nervous to be honest as we went to Budapest last year and found it so so difficult to get somewhere nice to eat or drink... just scared in case prague is going to be the same story... can anybody recommend some nice places or areas??? We%26#39;re staying in Andels Hotel... Any help/tips will be appreciated...

Thanks

What do you consider nice?

Olympia and Cafe Savoy are two good restaurants on Vitezni about 15 minutes walk away or a short tram hop from Andels. There is also the best sushi place in town on other side of the same square as these two restaurants. Cantina on Ujezd is a great Mexican, but it is really popular and you need to book.

Prague restaurants generally are much nicer and easier to find than in Budapest, but then that is because Prague is much nicer than Budapest.

If you get stuck on this, there is a nice McDonalds and KFC in the Novy Smichov shopping centre next to Andels, or you can go into the multiplex to eat some popcorn.

The other thing you will need is a public transport ticket as after a while you will get fed up walking back and forth. you can buy 3 day tikcets for 220 crowns or 7 day tickets for 280 crowns at the Prague Transport Authority office at in the arrivals hall on the right at the airport, once you have cleared customs

You might also want to check out www.squaremeal.cz for restaurants or

You honestly shouldn%26#39;t have a problem eating out in Prague five visits later and I still haven%26#39;t had a really bad meal.

I%26#39;ve eaten in the sister restaurant to Olympia and its really good, we will definately be trying here when we%26#39;re next over in December.
