I have posted a review on King George. We LOVED it. We were there over 2005 Thanksgiving weekend.

The location can%26#39;t be beat. The immediate area around the hotel is VERY charming. We walked all over the city and didn%26#39;t see anywhere else we would prefer. It is a 5 min. walk to old town square, 3 min walk to Charles Bridge and about 8 min walk to Wes. square. We never took the tram. We were able to even walk to the main train station, but we are walkers.

We had friends that were visiting at the same time. Some stayed at Josef, and the others stayed at Andel. They also prefered King George.

The restaurant was very good. You get a discount on the food if you are a guest. The room was a nice size, even had a loft. It was clean and comfortable. The bar is fine, but there is alot to choose from right there. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

There is not a big lobby. You have to walk up stairs to get to your room. You need a key to get into your room and into the stairway. There is no room service or ice machine. We prefer a place like this over a big hotel, but some may not.

King George is very charming and will be our first choice when we return.

Hope this helps.
