staying at andels hotel (a summit hotel) FOR 135 EUROS tax and breakfast included for 7 nights in september you have to use the american express card and you will be upgraded. this is a four star hotel why are they being so generous with their rates. thanks the 135 euros is per night

I don%26#39;t think this is too generous. People know that Andels is a little way out of the centre but, well connected by public transport metro/tram. Sometimes if a conference has been cancelled at short notice the big hotels do a temporary deal to cover the losses. Also if other hotels are doing a deal then they have to compete.

I thought that this was quite expensive for Prague but when I looked at the hotel%26#39;s website it looks like it might be worth it.
We stayed at the Ibis in Prague 5 last year and we found we needed to use public transport constantly to get into town, and although your hotel choice looks very luxurious I think after staying in that area before I would rather chose a hotel in the centre.
Prague 5 although a little way out is not particularly quiet, the police car sirens seems to be constantly blaring and the area is regenerating, ie building works so that can be noisy.
The shopping there is great and you have the Staropramen brewery almost on your doorstep so it%26#39;s not all bad and the public transport system is excellent until around midnight when it goes onto night service which is obviously not as frequent, ok for bed by 11 people like us but not so great for my son and his pal who went clubbing till 3 in the morning.
