just wondering what hotel axa is like, and more importantly the area that it is located in.

The location is the best about the hotel - it is quite old, service is lacking, don%26#39;t expect people to smile. Location though is fab.

Na Porici isn%26#39;t the best street in Prague, but as Martina says the Axa is 10 minutes walk from the old town. Hotel also has a really big swimming pool.
Trams go past the hotel day and night, so you might want to ask for a high floor or a room at the bqack if you are a light sleeper
