Self-catering in Mala Strana

Hello,

My family and I will be staying in an apartment in Mala Strana for a week this summer. I woild like to know if there are any grocery stores in this neighborhood.

Also, are stores in this neighborhood open in the evening?

There are lotas of small neighborhood stores open, you will find everything close by and a lot of them open late. For big shopping go to Novy Smichov Mall, which is only a few tram stops away.

check where in Mala strana you are staying. For example; you don%26#39;t want to be halfway up the hill and the shops are down the hill. As Martina says, lots of small shops open also on Sundays, but don%26#39;t expect anything like fresh food, fruit and vegetables; they will stretch to rolls and milk, but the rest of what they sell will be tinned
