We will be getting a taxi (prebooked) from the airport to the centre as we are arriving late. We were thinking of using public transport to return though. How easy is this?
Does the metro system run to the airport? How long should I allow and which line is it i take.

metro runs to Dejvicka and then you take the number 119 bus from Dejvicka metro. Cost is 20 crowns plus a 10 crown luggage tikcet if your luggage is more than aircraft hand luggage. Allow at least an hour from the centre
You can also take a Cedaz minibus from outside the CSA offcies (every half hour) which costs 90 crowns and takes about 30 minutes.
Taxis from the centre cost less than from the airport. You should not pay more than 500 crowns from a prebooked taxi from the centre which is only 12 pounds of so
