Thanks to Peb 7 and others who helped with our trip to Prague last Oct.Loved Prague.

Stayed at the Hotel Victoria on Seifertova 26.. it was excellent.. a tiny bit out of the way.. but with trams running every 3 minutes.. no complaints.. great staff, breakfast, brand new and reasonable!

We bought train tickets in Prague for Berlin.. one way was around 44 Euro..but just looked at the Raileurope Website ( planning for another family member)prices seemed much higher (80 US).. have prices gone up or is it cheaper to buy at place of departure, not online in advance??

Price difference purely arises because it is much cheaper to buy train tickets locally when you get to Prague than from foreign websites
