Small wedding in December, hotel+reception in the city...

Hello all,

we plan to get married in Prague in mid-December, which is not the high season, I think.

We will travel to Prague from Australia, some relatives and friends will come from Germany and other European countries.

We will only have about 20 people at the wedding, and we%26#39;ve been looking for a cozy hotel, possibly combined %26quot;reception at the hotel restaurant + 1 night stay for all the guests%26quot; thing, somewhere in the city centre...

We%26#39;ve been looking either for a small place or for a hotel with such a restaurant that has a private room for small groups...

Pricing is an issue, the budget isn%26#39;t unlimited at all...

I%26#39;ve read great reviews about %26quot;U Brany%26quot;, but it might be a bit too expensive for us...

Any other suggestions would be most welcome and very much appreciated!

U brany has good reviews on the reviews section of this site and I can vouch for the restaurant. Casa Marcello in Rasnovka, a small street tucked behind the old town square could also be good, as is Domus Henrici on Loretanska behind the Loreta above the castle.

We had our reception though at the Four Seasons and I can only say that the service that was given from start to finish was absolutely fabulous. The bill wasn%26#39;t at the same level either and the cost of the guest rooms for a group out of season isn%26#39;t as high as you would otherwise think. Costs much more than U brany, but you get married with the intention that it only happens once. So like the ring, don%26#39;t skimp on it
