My best mate and I are planning a trip beginning of April for 4 nights. I was wondering if there were any decent clubs bars etc which is not of the erotic variety.
We are both in our late 20’s and like to go somewhere where we can have a little dance or just generally spend a few hours of an evening catching up on gossip.
We are staying in Stasnicka (Hotel Juno), is this an easy place by public transport to get back to if it is late?
Any advice or ideas would be appreciated
Thank you,

try Bugsy%26#39;s on the corner of Parizska and siroka for a good cocktail bar or Barock further down towards the intercontintal on Parizska. Bombay cocktail bar on Douha is also good
All these are in the centre. Radost on Belehradska near Naemsti Miru metro is arguably the best club in town
At hotel Juno you are miles out. Hotel is a big 1970%26#39;s tower block about 15 minutes walk from Skalka metro which is the last station on the metro. Will cost you a significant amount to get back by taxi after the metro closes at midnight. You are best to buy a 7 day transport pass (they only do 3 and 7 day passes) when you come out. you can pick these up at the Prague Transport Authority office at the arrivals hall in the airport when you have come out of customs, as at least they will speak English there, unlike at Skalka.
Nothing much nearby the Juno as it is in a high rise housing estate. Tesco%26#39;s has a hypermarket nearby Skalka metro if you are desperate and it is open 24 hours per day

Last week I ended up in a kare-oke bar near the old town Square, cant remeber tne name ,i was fairly drunk when I arrived and much more so when i left.Little bit expensive (by Prague standards) for drink, but a good mixed aged crowd with locals and tourists alike.little bit of room for dancing, but everyone having a good time.
Someone may be able to help with the name.

I have no Idea Peb,It was a lomg narrowish bar I seemed to remember with just toilets down stairs, but I could be wrong!

So if we were to go out then, is it best to only go by public transport. If this stops at midnight then is the only other way of getting back, by taxi. When do they open again in the morning?

I was in Prague last week and certainly used late night trams to get back to Zizkov on a few occassions, the run about every 30 minutes.
The late night tram numbers are featured in black on the tram stops.

Which stop would be near the hotel we are staying at. I am worried now, I should have booked somewhere nearer, i didnt realise that it was that far out.
Thanks

night tram number 55 runs from Wenceslas Square all through the night and night tram 51 runs from the embankment by the Charles Bridge and get off at the tram stop at Strasnicka metro station, the Juno will be a 15 to 20 minute walk from the metro station
