Nightlife and another airport-hotel transfer question!

Just reading about the various ways of how to get to the hotels from the airport, I%26#39;m staying in the Ibis Praha Karlin Hotel (Saldova 54, Praha 8) and arriving in early tuesday morning, what public transport will I need to use to get there??

Also there is three of us going over, we like the few drinks and good craic, is there anywhere we should go in particular? is there any good live music on in the next few days? (staying from tuesday to friday) We are in our early 20%26#39;s and 30%26#39;s.

Thanks in advance for your help! Laura :)

we are going monday to thurs night

when we went 6 mnths ago we got the bus outside the airport terminal to the metro station, onwards via the metro.i forget the number of the bus and the name of the station ,but, you MUST buy a 3 or 4 day all transport ticket from the booth as you exit the airport, this gives unlimited transport throughout the city.

ask the man in the booth the bus number, learn to love the trams and metro ,if you do theyre brill !

for public transport to the karlin ibis, take the 100 bus from the airport to Zlicin metro (Where the bu terminates). Take the metro from Zlicin (which is the end of the line to Krizikova metro. Ibis Karlin is one block away from the metro.

If you want to see what live music is on, pick up a copy of the Prague Post which has a decent listings. Rocky O%26#39;Reilly%26#39;s on Stepanska near Wenceslas Square often has live Irish music
