Yes Im also going next week and would really appreciate some advice on appropriate clothing!
|||
Thanks for that - is anyone in Prague at the moment that can advise?

I will be in Prague from the 3rd march.It will be cold,probably a bit colder than southern Britain,with possibility of snow showers and maybe some rain.don%26#39;t know about later in the week hopefully it will be drier.if you go to www.pragueexperience.com there is a link to a 10 day weather forcast and also a webcam of the Charles Bridge.

I always check the weather on internet before I go to Prague.

i%26#39;ve just come back from a trip to prague..i went with boots thinking the weather would be awful but it didnt rain at all until i got on the plane home. Although it was cold, there was no wind like there is in england, so it doesnt actually feel as bitter. I would recommend thick socks and layers. Unless it suddenly pours it down with rain or starts to snow, i would say that you probably wouldnt need boots, just comfortable shoes/trainers that you can walk around a lot in. Scarves and gloves are also essential

Ditto bunnygirl - layers are the key - I got back last week from two weeks there - it%26#39;s a dry cold most of the time and the wind is noticible only at the Castle and sometimes on the Charles Bridge. I saw a lot of Brits in trainers, and frankly, those cobblestones are damned hard and cold! Something thick soled and supportive goes a long way to making your feet feel better at the end of the day - and if it snows, as it did numerious times (but never very deep), being waterproof is also good. There%26#39;s often a late afternoon mush on sidewalks and at the edge of streets.

Thank you all for your help with this

Weather for the weekend is forecast to be between minus 2 and 2, with occasional snoiw showers. So it will not be to warm; in other words, it is still winter here
